I was born and raised in Utah, I am married to my sweetheart Desiree going on 16 yrs. now, and four kids later. We enjoy spending our time sliding on skis, or pedaling around the beautiful mountains of Utah, whether in the alpine of Northern Utah or the red rocks of Southern Utah. I graduated with a degree in Aviation Science from Utah Valley University. 3 yrs. into my degree I was in a car accident that was the catalyst for not pursuing aviation as a career. This accident was my first exposure to the importance of auto insurance. I was grateful the driver of the accident had the proper insurance to cover my medical needs.

I grew up with insurance being a major part of my life. My father was an insurance agent for as long as I can remember, and from an early age I remember him talking about protecting people’s lives. I did not really understand what that meant until I joined him years later. I cherish the time my father mentored me. It was during my time with JB (his nickname) that I started to really grasp the importance of protecting lives with the proper coverages and insurance, be it Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life insurance, Renters Insurance, Condo Insurance, Business Insurance & other insurance needs. At Scott Ward State Farm Insurance Agency, we are enthusiastic about helping people protect what is most important from the unexpected.
